Art: The Dark Side

This book will be published in late 2006.

The book opens with a discussion of the etymology of the word art, its implications and discontents.  It intimates a unique approach to aesthetics.  It goes on to discuss a number of artist's works.  These are unusual artists, not well known, from Canada, the Netherlands and India.  It tells a story of art that is contrary to much of what we think about art or are lead to think. The articles in the book come closer to the artist, to the impulse to create and what that leads to.
